As a music enthusiast with great taste, I recently attended a jazz concert with my mom at The Piano Man, Gurgaon featuring Shauharty and Da’rookhs. To be honest, while I was familiar with Shauharty as the lead singer, I was excited to see the band perform and immerse myself in the new atmosphere.
Atmosphere:
The ambience at The Piano Man was unlike any other concert I have been to. With its indoor setting and around 50 people in the audience, the atmosphere was relaxed and comforting. The venue's commitment to blending culinary excellence with the art of music was evident in every detail, from the elegant lighting to the delectable food offerings.
Performance:
My mom and I arrived there at around 8:30, when the show had just started. We got seats right in front of Shauharty, aka the best seats. The band delivered a seamless blend of hip hop and jazz music, exuding a chill and relaxed demeanour. The guitarist caught my eye with his ability to complement Shauharty’s vocals beautifully. I along with others sang along, albeit not too loudly, in keeping with the laid-back vibe of the evening.
Highlights:
After the concert was over, I got the courage to meet Shauharty, (my mom had to say hi to him for me). Despite my initial nerves, he was incredibly warm and welcoming, immediately putting me at ease. I gifted him one of my bracelets matching mine and seeing him wear it later filled me with joy.
Conclusion:
Overall, attending Shauharty and Da’Rookhs show at The Piano Man was a highlight of my month. The combination of excellent music, tasty food and the chance to meet one of my favourite artists made for an unforgettable experience. I look forward to what new things Shauharty and his band come up with in the future and I will for sure return to The Piano Man for more memorable evenings.
