From Nursery to 12th

THIS POST IS NOT SPONSORED BY MY SCHOOL GUYS CHILL

Reflecting on my experiences from nursery to 12th grade fill me up with a myriad of emotions. My school focused not only on theoretical practice but also experiential learning, providing me with many opportunities and shaping me into the person I am today.
Come with me as I embark on a nostalgic journey, reminiscing the days gone by.

Junior Programme:

Since childhood, my school instilled values to live peacefully. From nursery to 2nd grade, each class went on a ‘bucket walk’ to pick up trash and litter around the school. Even though I was young, it instilled a sense of respect for my surroundings that I still hold dear. We also had swimming activities, which were always my favourite.

Friendships and Discoveries:

During middle school, I discovered my love for reading. I spent hours in the school library, sneaking in during lunch breaks and borrowing books every week. Around 5th grade, I began participating in various sports both in and out of school. I did track and field from 5th to 6th grade and played basketball and baseball in 7th grade. Outside school, my dad introduced me to golf, which I pursued for about 5 years. It was challenging, but definitely worth it.

Life works in mysterious ways. Who would have guessed that the girl I talked to in 3rd grade would still be one of my best friends today? We have supported each other through every phase from middle school drama to high school challenges and beyond.

Experiential Learning and adventures:

My favourite part of my school journey were the school trips, particularly the Khoj trips, where we travelled to different parts of the country by bus, learning about the history and culture of those places. These adventures left indelible memories and I wish I could relive them.

Adaption to change:

Transitioning from going to school everyday to online school from 8th till 10th grade was a bit challenging for me. However, it was during this time I learnt to participate in social work, such as educating children online and connecting with the elderly. Despite the virtual setting, I found a way to connect with people, fostering skills of communication and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

High School

In high school, I found a new group of friends that I cherish deeply. I made great connections with students and teachers who imparted valuable lessons that I will remember in the future. I believe I have grown out of my little cocoon and am evolving into a confident and smart individual, slowly but steadily. Every year, I continue to learn more about myself. I know that I want to engage in writing and communicating through a platform with others, and I will not be shy. I have many interests and I want to explore them while still in college. I am determined to explore my creative side.

Future Goals and Ambition:

As I stand at the beginning of a new chapter in my life, my future goals may seem vague, but my determination is not. With enough hope and hard work, I am exhilarated to explore my different interests and passions, particularly writing and editing. With every passing year, I learn new things about myself, fueled by my belief that I can achieve anything I put my mind towards.

Conclusion:My school journey has been a mix of challenges, issues and some amazing moments. I have had experiences which have taught me essential skills and lessons. This school has helped me make some of the best friendships that have helped me shape my identity and understanding of the world. I am ready to flip the page and enter a new chapter.
